A Movement Snack is a short 1 to 5 minute break you can take throughout the day to work on what matters most to you. Pick what you want to work on, choose 1 to 5 movements for your goal, and repeat your snacks often. Frequent, small doses of movement are how you make fast progress with minimal time.

Here's how to create and start one.

1. Open WeMove and find the Movement Snack card

From the WeMove tab, tap the Do a Movement Snack with C.O.A.C.H. card. Movement Snacks run 1 to 5 minutes, versus the longer 10 to 60 minute full sessions in the card above it.

2. View your Movement Snacks

The My Movement Snacks screen shows any snacks you've already built (like Body Wake Up or Lower Back). From here you can start an existing snack with Get Started, remove one with the trash icon, build a fresh one with Add +, or let C.O.A.C.H. pick for you with Surprise Me!

Tip: New to this? Tap What is a Movement Snack? for a quick explainer.

3. Choose what to focus on

Tell C.O.A.C.H. your goal. Options include Hurting Less, Feeling Looser, Feeling Stronger, Moving Better for Daily Life, Improving Balance, Waking Up My Body, and Calming Down and Resetting.

4. Show C.O.A.C.H. where you're feeling tight

Tap the area on the body diagram, or switch between the Front and Back tabs to reach different regions. This tailors the movements to exactly what your body needs.

5. Review your routine

C.O.A.C.H. builds a snack for you (for example, an Upper Back Flexibility Snack). Review each movement, use the level controls to make a movement easier or harder, and check the total Snack Time. When it looks good, tap Save Levels and Start Moving.

Tip: Tap the pencil icon to adjust a movement's level, or the heart icon to favorite it for later.

6. Start moving

Your snack plays automatically with guided video, background music, and a countdown timer. Watch Up Next to see what's coming, or tap Scale Up if you want more of a challenge.
