The WeRelieve Recovery Belt uses red and near-infrared light to support areas of the body that may feel tight, sore, overworked, or slow to recover. It's flexible, so it can be wrapped around the lower back, hips, shoulders, knees, calves, and more.
This guide covers what's included, how to power the belt, the control panel and timer settings, where to place it, eight practical routines, a suggested weekly plan, and important safety guidelines.

How to Start
Keep the First Few Sessions Gentle
For the first few uses, begin with a short, comfortable session.
First Week Recommendation
10 minutes at a time
1 area per session
At L1 or L2 brightness
1 time per day
After each session, notice warmth, relaxation, easier movement, or a calmer feeling.
Helpful things to notice:
Does the area feel warmer?
Does the area feel more relaxed?
Does movement feel easier?
Does the body feel calmer afterward?
After the first few uses, time and brightness can be gradually increased if it feels comfortable.
A Simple Use Rhythm: Place, Relax, Move, Notice
Place the belt on the area that needs support.
Choose a comfortable brightness.
Set the timer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Relax and breathe while the belt runs.
Follow with gentle movement or stretching.
Notice how the body feels afterward.
Small, steady use is often the easiest way to build a recovery habit.

The Eight Routines
Routine 1: Wake-Up Glow
For morning stiffness, low energy, or starting the day gently. Use this when the body needs a little warmth and support before stepping into the day.
Place the belt on: lower back, hips, upper back, or legs
Time: 10 to 20 minutes | Intensity: L2 to L3
Afterward, try: shoulder rolls, hip circles, a short walk, or a WeShape movement session.
What to notice: Does the body feel warmer, looser, or more ready for the day?
Routine 2: Spotlight Support
For one specific area that needs extra care. Use this when one area feels sore, stiff, overworked, or in need of focused support.
Place the belt on: knee, shoulder, elbow, hip, or low back
Time: 10 to 15 minutes | Intensity: L2 to L4 (start lower and increase only if it feels comfortable)
Afterward, try: knee bends, shoulder circles, hip shifts, easy walking, or slow range-of-motion movement.
What to notice: Does the area feel more supported or easier to move?
Routine 3: Post-Movement Glow
For after a WeShape session, walk, workout, or active day. Use this after movement to help the body settle, recover, and feel cared for.
Place the belt where the body worked hardest: quads, calves, glutes, low back, shoulders, or feet
Time: 10 to 20 minutes | Intensity: L2 to L3
Best timing: Within 30 to 60 minutes after movement, when possible.
Afterward, try: gentle stretching, a slow walk, easy breathing, or rest with feet elevated.
What to notice: Does the body feel less worked-over and more recovered?
Routine 4: Evening Unwind
For relaxing before bed and supporting sleep. Use this when the day has been full and the body is ready to settle.
Place the belt on: upper back, lower back, hips, or feet
Time: 10 to 15 minutes | Intensity: L1 to L2
Pair it with: slow breathing, dim lights, gentle stretching, quiet music, or a calm evening routine.
What to notice: Does the body feel calmer, heavier, or more ready for sleep?
Routine 5: Upper Body Ease
For upper back, shoulder, chest, and trap tension. Use this when the upper body feels tight from sitting, stress, posture, or daily life.
Place the belt on: upper back, across the shoulder area, or the chest area if comfortable and appropriate
Time: 10 to 15 minutes | Intensity: L1 to L3
Afterward, try: shoulder rolls, gentle chest opening, slow upper-back rotation, or easy breathing.
What to notice: Does the chest feel more open? Do the shoulders feel less guarded?
Routine 6: Hip and Back Release
For lower back, hips, and glutes. Use this when the lower back or hips feel tight, tired, or restricted.
Place the belt on: lower back, hips, glutes, or side of hip
Time: 10 to 20 minutes | Intensity: L2 to L3
Afterward, try: gentle hip circles, slow walking, a seated figure-four stretch, gentle pelvic tilts, or easy WeShape mobility movements.
What to notice: Does walking, standing, or bending feel a little easier?
Routine 7: Knee Confidence
For knees that need focused support. Use this when the knee area feels stiff, irritated, or unsure.
Place the belt: comfortably around the knee area. Keep it secure, but not tight.
Time: 10 to 15 minutes | Intensity: L2 to L4 (start at L2 and adjust gradually)
Afterward, try: gentle knee bends, easy walking, quad activation, calf raises, or slow sit-to-stand practice.
What to notice: Does the knee feel warmer, steadier, or more confident with movement?
Routine 8: Light Legs Reset
For tired feet, calves, and ankles. Use this after long days, lots of standing, walking, or when the legs feel heavy.
Place the belt on: calves, feet, or ankles
Time: 10 to 15 minutes | Intensity: L1 to L3
Afterward, try: ankle circles, toe spreading, gentle calf stretching, or a short walk around the room.
What to notice: Do the feet feel more grounded? Do the legs feel lighter?
Pairing the Belt With Other Recovery Tools
The Recovery Belt can be used alongside other recovery tools. A helpful order:
Use a massage roller, massage ball, or massage gun to release tight tissue.
Use the Recovery Belt for targeted light support.
Follow with gentle movement.
Example: massage roller on the upper back → Recovery Belt on the upper back → gentle shoulder rolls → slow breathing. This creates a simple rhythm: release, support, move, notice.
Suggested Weekly Plan
Week 1: Use 10 minutes per day on one area. Focus on comfort and consistency.
Week 2: Use 10 to 15 minutes per day. Try pairing the belt with gentle movement afterward.
Week 3: Use 15 to 20 minutes as needed. Begin using it for specific routines, such as after movement or before bed.
Week 4 and beyond: Choose the routine that fits the day — Wake-Up Glow, Spotlight Support, Post-Movement Glow, Evening Unwind, Upper Body Ease, Hip and Back Release, Knee Confidence, or Light Legs Reset. Consistency matters more than intensity.
