Did You Subscribe to Our YouTube Channel Membership Instead of WeShape?

The difference between a WeShape membership and a YouTube channel membership billed by Google — and how to manage or cancel the YouTube one.

Seeing a small monthly charge from Google but can't log in to WeShape? You may have a YouTube channel membership rather than a WeShape membership. They're easy to mix up — here's the difference.

Two Different Memberships

  • The WeShape membership — our full program with personalized daily routines, the app, Challenges, and coaching. Billed by WeShape ($39.95 monthly, $99 quarterly, or $299 yearly at standard pricing).

  • The WeShape YouTube channel membership — an optional small monthly membership (typically a few dollars) that supports our YouTube channel and unlocks YouTube perks. Billed by Google/YouTube, not WeShape.

Signs You Have the YouTube Membership

  • The charge is small (a few dollars a month) and billed through Google

  • You can't log in at my.weshape.com — there's no account under your email

  • You don't remember entering payment details on the WeShape website

Important: A YouTube channel membership does not include access to the WeShape program or app.

How to Manage or Cancel a YouTube Channel Membership

Because it's billed by Google, only you can cancel it — WeShape can't do it from our end.

  1. Go to YouTube

    Open youtube.com (or the YouTube app) and click your profile picture.

  1. Open Purchases and memberships

    Select Purchases and memberships from the menu.

  1. Deactivate the WeShape membership

    Find WeShape in the list and click Deactivate.
